EXCELLENT Based on 33 reviews Posted on alberico morenoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Abbiamo fatto una crociera di 5 giorni con l'Endemic. Assolutamente favoloso. Tutto perfetto: le stanze, la pulizia, le escursioni, il cibo. L'attenzione dello staff è ottima, soprattutto per le persone anziane.Posted on Joel GoldbergTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We spent a week cruising the Galapagos on the Elite; it was an outstanding experience from booking to debarking. Here are some comments that may be useful to others: (1) Daniela did an excellent job answering questions and handling the booking. We made a couple of atypical requests concerning flights and entry permits, and found Golden Galapagos very accommodating. (2) The ship is best described as "understated". Nothing is fussy, fancy or overtly luxurious, but everything is user-friendly. Passenger cabins are huge and highly functional. (3) We avoid packaged tours and homogeneous groups, so were pleased to find that our fellow passengers included independent travelers from five countries, which made for some lively conversations. (4) A 16-passenger catamaran is not an ocean liner. There's significant engine noise while the ship repositions during the night (slightly less on the upper deck), and we rocked and rolled with the waves (slightly less on the lower deck). Earplugs and scopolamine patches are your friends if you're a light sleeper or susceptible to seasickness. (5) As older folks, we quickly realized this is a seriously active trip, and hustled to keep up with the daily schedule of hikes and snorkeling. A "moderate" activity level can translate to hiking several miles over uneven terrain. But it's fine to skip any activity and stay onboard if you want a break, and we wouldn't have swapped it for a less-strenuous experience. (6) The food was well-prepared and nicely varied on the whole, but don't expect a gourmet experience; we slogged through some tough steak and overcooked fish. The wine list needs a serious upgrade, and its pricing is a money grab. If you enjoy decent wines with dinner, consider BYO -- even with the corkage charge. (7) Yes, you'll see all the amazing critters and landscapes you expect to on a Galapagos trip. (8) Finally, the crew. They went out of their way to enhance our experience -- not in an obsequious manner, but highly competent, and helpful as needed. Our guide, David, was outstanding, but as the certified guides are independent contractors, you're unlikely to run across him.Posted on Sydney PriceTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A++ trip. We visited both the Ecuadorian Rainforest (La Selva Eco Lodge) and took a luxury boat trip to the Galapagos on the Endemic. Exceeded expectations on every level from transfers, to food and our naturalist guide experts. Highly recommend.Posted on Tim ClarkeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We love working with this business partner for marketing projects. That's what comes to my mind when I think of the Galapagos trip that we did with Golden Galapagos. From the start of our trip, the company took care of everything as promised. We were picke up from hotel, escorted in airport with personal assitance, after landing at San Cristobal island was picked up by guide and transferred to the yacht. Next one week was heaven! Everyday there was new thing to explore, new species to see. We were greeted on the first day by blue footed boobies dancing and mating. What a way to start our journey! Then the sea turtles, giant turtles, marine iguanas, land iguanas, plenty of fishes, Penguins, Sharks, Sea lions, magnificient frigate birds, nazka boobies, dolphins, Sally lightfoot crabs, flamingoes and many more! The guide and crew were so amazing that they gave us confidence that we can do snorkeling with life jackets even though we don't know how to swim and that was one of the best thing of our lives to see creatures under water so close. The food and hospitality was amazing. Everyday there will be a new menu and the chef will be at the counter to explain and serve us personally. The bartender had smile all the time on his face. I can probably write an essay on this :-) but I would try not to! If you are still thinking to make this dream vacation...go for it! you will not regret a single moment.Posted on Nancy LouisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. OMG. A huge thank you to Vladi Cruz, our main contact throughout the planning and booking process. He was professional, responsive, and always available to answer questions and tailor the trip to our needs. Gabriela Panata was also wonderful and helpful throughout—together they made sure every detail was taken care of. Our itinerary included an incredible cruise aboard the M/C Endemic in the Galapagos Islands—luxurious, well-run, and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also spent time at the La Selva Eco Lodge in the Amazon rainforest, which was absolutely magical and gave us a deep appreciation for the region’s biodiversity and natural beauty. Thanks to Golden Galapagos, Vladi, and Gabriela, our journey through Ecuador was seamless, enriching, and completely worry-free. We highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Ecuador or the Galapagos Islands—you’ll be in the best hands!
